Dear students, families, and friends:

As we grapple with the coronavirus pandemic and its many implications, I’m reaching out to share how Cambridge Coaching can support you.

Online tutoring. We are currently strongly encouraging all tutor/student relationships to continue online.  Even before COVID-19, half of our tutoring activity was already happening online, and many of our tutors have already worked extensively online. Therefore, we are well prepared for this challenge.  If you’re wondering how online tutoring works, please do not hesitate to reach out and a member of our team can talk you through or provide a demonstration.  If you’ve already started meeting your tutor online and have technical questions, you should feel free to reach out, as well.

Information sharing.  We will be tracking what’s happening in the education world, how institutions and testing companies respond, and doing our very best to relay this information back to you, so that you can adjust your plans appropriately.  If you have a specific question, please don’t hesitate to write back to this message or give us a ring.  We would be grateful to know what you’re wondering about and what’s worrying you, so that we can serve you better.

Academic instruction and bridge support.  We understand that many students are out of school and/or working remotely.  As always, we can guide and support work in any and all academic fields from elementary school through the graduate level.  Given that so many students will be attending classrooms online, remember that 1:1 online instruction can be a dynamic supplement that might feel more “live” than an online classroom.  If you are looking to entirely replace a course with 1:1 tutoring, we can also do that.

Financial assistance.  We understand that the coronavirus is as much an economic crisis as it is a public health one, and we will continue to provide a discount to students in need and to military veterans.

More than ever, I’m aware that the work of 1:1 teaching and learning is an invaluable form of continuity during uncertain times.  We look forward to hearing from you, supporting you, and persisting in our endeavors, as we all navigate this crisis together.

With warmest wishes,
