Sam graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Grinnell College with a BA in History with Honors, and he was selected as the Charles Payne Scholar in History during his final year. He went on to get his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Montana.

Monica

Monica holds a BA in History from Harvard College. Currently, she is an Instructional Content Developer at Harvard University (her old stomping grounds!), crafting narrative-driven courses for online platforms including EdX and HarvardX.

Tes

Tes graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in Literary and Cultural studies and then followed her passion for Irish traditional music to Ireland, where she earned an MA in Ethnomusicology from the University of Limerick. After cofounding the Blue Ridge Irish Music School, a nonprofit in Charlottesville, Virginia, she returned to school and received her doctorate in Music from New York University in 2010.

Max Ro.

Max attended the Hackley School for thirteen years before graduating cum laude from UChicago with degrees in history and philosophy. He currently works as a Research Fellow under Professor Jeff Manza in the Department of Sociology at NYU.

Avantika

Avantika graduated from Columbia University with a double major in English and Art History. After pursuing an MSt in Medieval Studies at the University of Oxford, Avantika received her doctorate in Art History from Harvard University in 2024.

Michelle S.

Michelle graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in Comparative Literature. She was named a Rufus Choate Scholar for top 5% of GPAs, a James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar, and a Gamma Sigma Alpha Honor Society member. She also received the Phi Beta Kappa Sophomore Prize for being within the top 20 highest GPAs at Dartmouth.

Alexis

graduated with Special Honors and Phi Beta Kappa from the City University of New York, Hunter College. There, she double majored in Political Science and Human Rights (winning the 2020 Best Capstone Paper) and double minored in Asian American Studies and Chinese Language and Literature. Alexis recently completed her Masters’ Degree in Development Studies with a Distinction on her Dissertation at SOAS, University of London.

Adin

Adin graduated from Yale with honors and distinction in the English major, earning multiple prestigious writing awards, including the John Hubbard Curtis essay prize and the university-wide Rockwell Field essay prize. He is currently enrolled in the CUNY School of Labor's graduate studies program.

Farhad

Farhad graduated from the University of Texas, finishing pre-med and with four majors: biology, history, Middle Eastern studies, and Persian. He next attended the University of Chicago for his MA in Middle Eastern Studies and Harvard University for his PhD in History and Middle Eastern studies.

Isabella

Isabella earned a Bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of Edinburgh. In January 2025, Isabella completed her Master's degree in Classics at New York University, with a 3.95 GPA. She is currently preparing her PhD applications, where she hopes to research Greek Tragedy, intersected with Greek Sculpture and contemporary Literary Theory.

Christopher S.

Christopher majored in International Studies at Boston College, with a focus on Political Economy and Development Studies. Christopher also minored in French, and graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Currently, he is completing a Master's in Theological Studies at Harvard with a focus on Religion, Ethics, and Politics.

Becca B.

Becca graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Government and Romance Languages & Literatures. She received a Harvard post-graduate fellowship and is now living in Turkey, where she works for an NGO that serves refugee youth along the Turkish-Syrian border.

Andrewr

Andrew earned a BA in English and a BA in History from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He has conducted historical and literary research at Harvard and Brown.

Alexv

Alex majored in History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Barnard College, where she received the Jane Gould Prize for Outstanding Senior Thesis, in addition to receiving honorable mention for Columbia University’s Women’s and Gender Studies Essay Award Contest. She next pursued a Master of Arts from Columbia University in Eastern European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies. She is now pursuing a degree at Hunter College in the Adolescent Social Studies program.

Sophiek

Sophie graduated cum laude from Yale University, where she majored in American Studies. She is an alum of Yale's year-long Grand Strategy program and a former Yale Law School Arthur Liman Fellow. Currently, she is completing a Master's program in Comparative Social Policy at the University of Oxford as a Rotary Global Scholar.

Daphne

Daphne earned her BA in 2019 from Yale University, where she double-majored in Classics and the History of Art. She has since gone on to be awarded a PhD in Classics from the University of Cambridge, working as a senior team member for two archaeological excavations in Greece.

Isaac E.

Isaac graduated from UC Berkeley with highest honors in Geography and American Studies. He is now an MFA candidate at the University of Iowa nonfiction writing program.

Jake S.

Jake majored in Classics at Swarthmore and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He also minored in Education and earned a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification. After completing a fully funded PhD in History at the University of Cambridge, Jake is now a visiting Fellow in the Harvard History Department.

Josh A.

Joshua received his BA from Washington University in St. Louis in Political Science and American Cultural Studies (summa cum laude), before starting graduate school at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He recently completed his JD at Yale Law School. Currently, Joshua is PhD Candidate in History and African-American Studies at Yale.

Jess graduated from Wesleyan University with high honors in Government before receiving her Master's in History at Brown. She attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School on a full tuition merit scholarship, and graduated cum laude.

Patrick D.

With 17 years of experience teaching various high school subjects in Brooklyn, NY, Patrick has seen it all. He holds a BA in Philosophy from NYU and an M.Ed from Long Island University.

Jai is an incoming MD candidate at Harvard Medical School in the Harvard-MIT Health, Sciences, and Technology program. He graduated from Harvard College summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in History of Science and a concurrent MA in Chemistry.
